Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification courses and exams are available in Office 2003, Office 2007 and Office 2010 formats.  Proficient Specialists can handle a wide range of everyday tasks with ease. Expert Specialists are expected to do all those everyday tasks, plus handle more complex assignments that require advanced formatting and functionality.

The newest Microsoft Office Specialist credential validates skills in the 2010 Microsoft Office system, covering Microsoft® Office Word 2010, Excel® 2010, PowerPoint® 2010, Access® 2010, Outlook® 2010, and SharePoint® 2010. Expert-level exams are also available for Word 2010 and Excel 2010.

The Microsoft Office Specialist 2007 credential validates skills in the 2007 Microsoft Office system, as well as in the Windows Vista® operating system. Core-level exams are available for Microsoft® Office Word 2007, Excel® 2007, PowerPoint® 2007, Access® 2007, Outlook® 2007, and Windows Vista®.

The Microsoft Office Specialist 2003 credential validates skills in the 2003 Microsoft Office system, covering Microsoft® Office Word 2003, Excel® 2003, PowerPoint® 2003, Access® 2003, and Outlook® 2003. Expert-level exams are also available for Word 2003 and Excel 2003.

Each MOS certification requires up to eighteen (18) hours of training. Individual classes for each level of a course are run on a regular basis. Please refer to our Desktop Schedule for a list of the courses and when they are available. Customised classes can be planned to accommodate your specific requirements.

Exam vouchers and practice tests are available for Office 2003 and 2007 and exam vouchers for Office 2010 (no practice test available at this time).

Note that as of June 2010 MCAS has been discontinued and instead of using different certification names for different versions of MS Office there is now one certification-MOS
